Hiking Along the Rio Grande 7/8/2022

Thanks to Tamara for the pictures and write-up on this  post!
Betty led a small group of the Hoofers on a walk in the Bosque in Rio Rancho at Willow Creek, a familiar route. It was a hot humid morning so the hike was fairly short, with few photos.  But Geeta got her 3rd hike in, so she now has become an official Happy Hoofer!

Another picture of the Hoofers as Tamara thought they needed a better shot

This looks like a Silverleaf Nightshade (the leaves make me wonder)
Reportedly toxic to humans and livestock even though they are in the Potato Family

Not sure what kind of critter this is...but I would think it is best to keep your distance!
