Hiking the Acequia in Corrales 9/3/2021

Betty led a group of Hoofers on a pleasant walk along the Acequias in Corrales.  Due to the drought they were dry, but the Cottonwoods most likely provided some shade along the way

Llamas

Wide trail great for holding conversations while walking

Some cute little doggies

Raccoons...but only their footprints caught on camera!

Walking along the acequias near Village Pizza in Corrales--no mention of whether or not they stopped for pizza!

Lot of conversations going on!

Looks like they had some nice shade and looks like it wasn't too hot either!

My favorite the big and majestic Cottonwoods

Hard to be 100% on this but I am guessing these are Copper Globe Mallows

Possibly a "bridge" across the acequia but not sure I would want to cross it!

A nice view of the acequia even if it is pretty dry

Looks like the back side of a lot of llamas?

Now this is New Mexico!
