Happy Hoofers Fall Luncheon September 2019

Thanks to Linda B. for opening up her beautiful home for our Fall luncheon.  As usual we had a great selection of salads to share and they were as wonderful as always...no duplicates as I could tell. Pat, even though she was a birthday girl, still brought her bread...and we were all thrilled to have it.  And just to prove we are not sticks in the mud...we had some fabulous desserts...probably the reason we only eat salads at the luncheon.  Great times with Great friends...and we missed all those who were unable to attend.  So here are the pictures of the Hoofers, unrecognizable all dolled up! (Don't worry, I put in captions to identify the Hoofers!)

Great views from Linda's back yard

Everything was beautifully set up for our luncheon

Aspen in her yard to remind us of our hikes

And Linda's beautiful gardens

Jeanette and Barb

Marilyn, Judy S., and Annette

Ann, Julianne, Hilda and please note Sally in the background, I missed taking her picture (even though she sat across the table from me)

Jane

Jennise and Karen C.

Rose and Kathleen
(Which is more embarrassing, lipstick all over my teeth, or lying and saying I snitch some cherries off the dessert table?)

Missy and Mary M.

Betty, Jean R. and Mary B.

Darlene (our newest Hoofer) and Kelly

Judy A. and Ann

Janis and Helene

Annie and Linda

Jennise and Pat

The salads, the desserts, the wine...we know how to party!

An uninvited guest, but spectacular

True to form I have to get it from all sides!
More views of our beautiful locale

Many of us were amazed that these Aspen were growing at this low elevation... absolutely beautiful!

As I was leaving, Linda wanted to show me this rosebush in her front courtyard--Pearl had given her this rosebush many years ago

Absolutely beautiful!

We missed all the Hoofers who were unable to attend for one reason or another.  We especially thought of you as we missed Karen's deviled eggs, and the fellowship we look forward to seeing the Party Girls and the Hoofers all together dressed up and with makeup on so we have to pause just slightly as we try to place that face.

See you next time on the trails or at the next luncheon...
and remember...
KEEP ON HOOFING!

Thanks! It is nice to get comments on the blog actually ON the blog. I tried to talk the Spider into joining the Hoofers, but she said she rather just hang out at Linda's house!
