Bronwyn planned a nice easy hike along the ditch that goes from Osuna up to the northern border of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque. Approximate round trip hike was 5 miles with virtual no elevation gain. There was still some fall colors but no water in the ditch as there had been when Bronwyn scouted the hike six days before. They had beautiful blue skies which made a great contrast to the golden leaves of the Cottonwoods along the Bosque.

It was good to see Judi P. back hiking again after her injury, and, hopefully, she will be back on the regular trails soon. |
