Ginny hosted the Hoofers Holiday Luncheon and was able to rent out the dining room at her complex. It was awesome, we had some nice gentlemen to help out and clear away our dishes, the tables were festively adorned as was the room. And we had more silverware than we knew what to do with...but that's ok because we did not have to do the dishes! The salads were awesome as well. So were the desserts, even if I did not get a picture of them. We did all our business --signing up for next year's hikes and luncheons and then enjoyed each other's company. Did not get a picture of this, but Pat received the "Hoofer of the Year Award" for being so thoughtful in setting up a Hoofer list for "visits" to our new EMERITUS HOOFER, Jane, as well as providing greeting cards for all of us to sign. Thanks so much Pat for your thoughtfulness, not only this year, but in past years as well! The Hoofer of the Year Award is THE tackiest music box ever...but it plays the theme from the Love Story ... expressing our love and gratitude to each year's awardee. This year's awardee was chosen and presented by Jean, last year's winner.
