Hiking in the Golden Sandia Mountains 9/30/2016

Hilda led this hike from the Ellis trailhead.  I had 4 photographers sending in excellent pictures of the hike in my absence,  and try as they did, they were still unable to take as many as I do...of course that may be a very good thing! I give kudos and thanks to Karen, Julianne, Meagan and Jean for their contributions.
I will try to name all the Hoofers hope I get everyone right:  Front row: Karen, Bridget, Mary B. Bronwyn, Back Row: Judy A. Betty, Linda, Hilda's friend, Ginny, Jean, Barb, Julianne, Hilda (our leader), Jane............

...and Meagan!!!

Bronwyn, Jane, Hilda, a friend of Hilda's that they met at Del Aqua and apparently she wanted to photobomb the picture, and Hilda's legitimate friend, Linda, who actually hiked with us

Dang I should be fired I missed uploading these fine pictures from Meagan... they showed up in a different section of my download file and I completely forgot them and they were some of her best pictures too...My apologies Megan

Here are a few more pictures coming in a bit late but still time to add to blog for those looking back on this hike.  Thanks to Jane for these.
Early Lunch at the Del Aqua lookout
Apparently the Hoofers met up with other Hikers at lunch that explains the Beagle "Charlie"

And here are the Hoofers back at the cars eating Ginger cookies I am assuming baked by Hilda...now we really did miss a treat here!!!

Well I and the other Hoofers missed a beautiful hike on a great Fall day...  thanks to those who took the pictures so we could enjoy what we missed!
