Mary M. led us on a hike along the Rio Grande Bosque in Rio Rancho. Seeing the fall colors made for a beautiful hike. It was about a 5 mile walk and we had a perfect day to capture the beauty of New Mexico!

| Snow in the Sangre de Cristos |
| Zoomnig in on what we thought would be a beaver's den |
| View of an arroyo we crossed |
| Back down in the Bosque |
| It was so beautiful, I wasn't the only one taking pictures! |
| Bat boxes were prolific in this part of the Bosque....some evening at sunset it might be fun to come here and watch as the bats take flight! |
| There were benches set up to watch the bats as they exit their boxes |
| A nice picture of the Sandia Mountains as a backdrop to the Fall colors |
| Candian Geese populating the sand bars of the Rio Grande |
A great hike for the memory books
