Hiking South 10K to Tree Spring Trail

Jean led us on a nice long, but all downhill, hike.  She parked her car at Tree Spring (along with Julianne) and they hitched a ride with us to the 10 K South Trail. We hiked down the trail across three ski lanes until we arrived at Tree Spring, where we hoped to turn off on Oso Corridor down another trail that the Wildflowers group call "Pearl's other trail".  However with rain looming (alright it was actually raining at time) we bypassed Oso Corridor and continued down Tree Spring to the awaiting cars which took the drivers back up to 10K to get the cars.

Penstemon

We had a very large group, the rain did not keep anyone away.  Back row: Judy A. Bronwyn, Ginny, Meegan, Bridget, Betty, Julianne, Jan, Pat, Jane, Mary, Hilda Front row: Jennise, Mary B. Jean: our leader, and Lynda

And moi, note we are all decked out in our rain gear!
